Golf on the Ice for a Great Cause

Moonlite Bay in Crosslake will host the 16th Annual Ice Tee Open on March 4, where golfers will step out on the ice to play their favorite game and raise money for a great cause.

The Ice Tee Open is a golf tournament hosted by Golden Eagle Golf and Moonlite Bay to raise money for the nearby Camp Knutson. Teams of four play a fun and challenging take on golf on the slippery surface of the lake. Teams of four can join together, or smaller groups will be automatically placed into a team.

The cost to join the fun is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 14. Bring your own golf club and the ball will be provided. The event will also include a silent auction, raffle and prizes!

All proceeds go to the camp. Camp Knutson (or “Camp K” as it’s locally known) is located on Manhattan Point and is a place where children with disabilities or conditions can find an accepting environment in which to have a week of fun. Camps offered at Camp K include weeklong adventures for children on the autism spectrum, children affected by skin disease, children with heart conditions, and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

For more information, including how to register for the event, see the event’s Facebook Page.
