Here on the Whitefish Chain in Minnesota we relish in everything autumn- the pumpkins, the golden, red and brown hues, the spooky stories by the campfire and the brisk fall days. And when it comes to Halloween, we make the most of it. That's why we're rounding up all of the area's Halloween events right here, including those on Halloween Weekend and on the day of, Wednesday, Oct. 31
The Haunted Hallows of Crosslake
Get ready to get spooked! This show, put on by the Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts, will take place at the Crosslake Historic Log Village. Inspired by Crosslake history and the Log Village itself, this show is family oriented but has some spooky moments for everyone. Travel through time and visit the spirits of Crosslake's past. Fulfill the quest of the villagers before the clock strikes 13. This is truly a community production, with script, special effects, costumes, makeup and more all locally produced.
Shows take place October 26 and 27 from 6-9:30 p.m., with shows every half hour. You'll see professional actors, animatronics and great special effects. Food will be available on-site from JR's No. 19 BBQ. Tickets, which are sold on site, are $12 for adults and $7 for children 10 and under. The Crosslake Historic Log Village is located on County Road 3 in Crosslake, just across the street from the dam. Find more info on GLAPA's website.
