The city of Crosslake is hosting the 13th annual WinterFest, Feb. 5-6, 2016. Like most local town celebrations in the Whitefish Chain region, there will be drinking and dining specials, as well as great deals in every shop. Every year, WinterFest kicks off with a medallion hunt. Use clues posted around town to find the WinterFest medallion, and you'll earn a basket of goodies worth hundreds of dollars.
Friday afternoon and night's activities are really centered around kids. The Crosslake Community School hosts a school carnival, then the Crosslake Community Center kicks their activities follow, including a huge bonfire and SMORES (our favorite treat)! You might even get a selfie with Sticky the S'More!
Saturday's activities are scattered all around town, but include tastings and games. SoupFest includes nearly 20 participants scattered all around town. Download map Tasting starts at noon. Don't forget to cast your vote before 3 p.m.
Adult-centered activities headline Saturday night, with karakoe, live bands and dancing.
