Yes, despite the pandemic, Crosslake Days 2020 is happening! The event will be this Thursday to Saturday, Sept. 24-26. Naturally extra precautions will be taken this year to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. Come join in the fun, take in the spectacular fall colors and enjoy everything Crosslake has to offer.
This year, purchase your Crosslake Days neck gaiter/facemask from participating chamber businesses for just $10- and then cash in on great deals all over town throughout the event! The masks are also a great piece of memorabilia for the event. See the Crosslake Chamber event website for details on all the great deals, which range from drink specials to discounts on retail to gift card specials.
While the facemask is a great way to save big this weekend, it's not required to participate in the event- Crosslake Days is free.
Festivities begin Thursday morning with the release of the first clue to find the missing chili pepper. A new clue is released Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Whoever finds the pepper, hidden somewhere in Crosslake, wins a fantastic prize package courtesy of many local businesses.
Local events this weekend range from live music to barbecue tastings to a cornhole tournament and more.
Saturday events include:
Keep your eyes open for the Unicycling Unicorn around town. Reserve your spot here to see one of three shows.
More than 60 artisans will be at the craft show on Saturday, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the former Exchange parking lot.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. enjoy an open house at the new Northern MN Railroad Heritage Association, the local model train museum now in its new location.
