When children enter Paul Bunyan Land, they're greeted by Paul himself- all 26 feet tall of him- and greeted by name!

The giant Paul Bunyan statue that "magically" knows children's names is iconic to Paul Bunyan Land. Located south of the Whitefish Chain in Brainerd, Paul Bunyan Land is a local attraction that has captivated guests for decades. It's open every day (yes, every day!) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It's the perfect place to head for a day trip from your stay on the Whitefish Chain of Minnesota.

After being greeted by Paul, families have an entire park to enjoy complete with rides that will rival the fair, a petting zoo and a pioneer village that can take you back in time.

Rides include  classics, like the tilt-o-whirl, merry-go-round and bumper cars, as well as rides like the "mini Himalayan," "the canoes," flying cages, the frog hopper, and a climbing wall. There's a ride for every age, more than a dozen in all.

Over at Paul's Petting Barn, say hello to bunnies, goats, chickens, horses and more.

The pioneer village consists of a small town's worth of buildings that reflect days gone by. Stop by the old Miller Saw Mill and see how logs were turned into lumber. See the old schoolhouse, the music store, the post office, blacksmith and chicken coop. Explore the old log cabin, the church, the sweet shop and the black powder shooting range. There's so much to experience.

Your whole family will have a great time exploring Paul Bunyan Land!

Tickets to Paul Bunyan Land are free to kids under 2 years old, $21.95 for adults (ages 3-64) and $18.95 for seniors (age 65 and up). The Paul Bunyan Land website has a map of rides and attractions. Paul Bunyan Land has been open since 1954, though it was moved from its original location in Baxter in 2003.
