Celebrate America/Crosslake Fireworks

July 6, 2019 @ 9:00 pm - 10:30 pm

2019 marks the 49th year the community of Crosslake has been celebrating Americas' freedom with a fantastic fireworks display.  Join us on the water or from the shores of Cross Lake to view the display launched from Sand Island.

We're turning it up a notch with Hubbard Broadcasting's B93.3 FM Radio.  Look for the Celebrate America Fireworks Party Barge on the Whitefish Chain Saturday, July 6 from 1 - 4 p.m. Pull up and meet B93.3 radio personality Wild Bill Satre, make a donation to the fireworks display and maybe he'll throw you a tchotchke!

Views are best from a boat, but if you're on the shore, the Cty Rd 16 bridge on the north-west side of Crosslake near The Wharf offers parking on the shoulders, bring a lawn chair and sit next to your car.  You can also see the fireworks from the beaches at the US Army Corp Crosslake Recreation Areas (Campground). The recreation area entrance is at the intersection of Cty Road 3 and Rte 66, but offers very limited parking.   Park at Andy's corner, the churches or nearby businesses along Rte 66 and walk in.  Bring blankets or chairs to sit on.  Please be respectful of the campers as you walk through.

Please contribute to the cause. Put your extra change in specially marked donation cans at Crosslake merchants. Tax deductible contributions can be mailed to:
