Due to concerns over the Coronavirus, the Crosslake St. Patrick's Day Parade has, unfortunately, been cancelled. The Crosslake City Council met in an emergency meeting this morning, Friday, March 13, and unanimously voted to cancel the parade.
While the parade will not go on, the Chamber of Commerce wants residents and visitors to know that businesses are still open and ready to serve customers. "The vast majority of businesses are still looking forward to welcoming customers," a press release from the chamber said. It adds that visitors should check the parade event page for the most up to date information on events and happenings. Many businesses are planning their own celebrations and events. Lucky Lanyard deals will still be honored and the raffle drawing will continue. The search for the pot of gold will also continue.
