Both Pequot Lakes and Crosslake are continuing their summer traditions of outdoor music for all. This is a great way to enjoy a summer Whitefish Chain tradition while social distancing amid the pandemic. These events are totally free and there is plenty of space to spread out. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the sweet sounds of summer.
Crosslake holds its Summer Music Series in Town Square every Saturday from 6-8 p.m. The series will continue every weekend through Aug. 29.
Music in the series ranges from Johnny Cash and Neil Diamond covers to country, rock and variety. Check the schedule to see what's coming this week.
Pequot Lakes' Band in the Park series continues every Saturday through Aug. 22. Music is from 7-9 p.m. The bands range from country music to '50s music to a variety of everything. The concerts are held at Trailside Park in Pequot Lakes, along the former Highway 371.
Unfortunately, this year, bad weather will mean a cancelled concert due to Coronavirus restrictions.
You'll also find that many local restaurants and breweries are hosting their own patio concerts for the public. Check with your favorite establishments for schedules.
Bring the family, your lawn chairs and even your dancing shoes. Enjoy!
