Event Highlights Include:

Medallion Hunt: One of the three clues will be released every day beginning on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. until the medallion is found, winning the sleuths a prize package valued at more than $1,000! Clues are released here. More than 40 local businesses make the prize basket possible.

Cabin Fever Carnival: Held at Crosslake Community School, the carnival is not only fun for the kids but a fundraiser for the town's local charter school. It'll be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday evening, Jan. 31. Enjoy kids games, a bake walk, Bobber the Water Safety Dog and more.

Friday Night Fun: Head to the Community Center (location) on Friday night from 7-9 p.m. to enjoy ice skating, a snow hill, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a bon fire with s'mores, Crosslake fire trucks on display, hot apple cider and a live DJ. Fireworks will light up the sky at 9 p.m. Bring your own sleds and ice skates for the snow hill and skating pond.

SoupFest: Tastings begin at noon Saturday, Feb. 1 as more than 20 local businesses and organizations will compete for the golden ladle. Every year local businesses bring their A-game and favorite recipes to soup fest in hopes of owning the traveling trophy- the golden ladle- for a year. Tastings begin promptly at noon (not a moment before) and last until they're gone. Travel to as many participating locations as you can to get a good variety, and then vote for your favorite. Voting is done through the Crosslake app (find it in your phone's app store). Awards are given for people's choice in both the amateur and culinary divisions as well as judge's choice. Find a PDF map of participating locations here.

Italian Olympics: Every year Maucieri's Italian restaurant hosts the Italian Olympics, where you can compete in a variety of outdoor events. The Olympics start at 1 p.m.

Ice Carousel: Head up to Moonlite Bay and check out their ice carousel- a rotating circle of ice on the bay (weather permitting). Radar runs will also be held on the bay- how fast is your rig?
