Things to see

From Pequot Lakes’ iconic bobber water tower, to the historic Pine River Depot, there are plenty of sites to see in the Whitefish Chain. Hit the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway or snap a photo with one of the many Paul Bunyan statues in the area. And if you visit in the summer, don’t miss Pine River’s famous, weekly duck races.

Mini golf is huge in the Whitefish Chain. From Crosswoods Golf Course, one of the largest mini golf courses in Minnesota, to Wildwedge Mini Golf, home to a course named “Best Mini Golf in Minnesota”, you can’t go wrong. And don’t miss out on Pirate’s Cove, an all pirate-themed golf course the kids will love!
