Benefit for Bob Miller of Fifty Lakes

Bob and Patty Miller moved to Fifty Lakes 21 years ago to fulfill Bob’s dream of owning a golf course. The Fairways at Howard’s Barn became not only their business but their home. It was there that they raised their children, Joe and Katie, and became active members of the Fifty Lakes community. While they loved running the golf course, economic hardships forced them to close their doors in 2018.
But you know what they say, you can’t keep a good man down and Bob proved that to be true. He quickly re-emerged as the manager of Moonlight Liquors where he worked diligently to bring a smile to customers’ faces while supporting his family.

Unfortunately, life threw another curve ball at the Miller’s in 2020 when Bob was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.
And this is where you come in. We are inviting friends and family, patrons and community members, to come together to help ease some of the financial burden Bob and Patty are facing as a result of the diagnosis.
Please join us on Saturday, August 7 at the Fifty Lakes Pavillion for an afternoon of food, music, and a whole lot of fun.
